FAVOURITE MAKEUP PRODUCT
So this week we are gonna talk about our favourite makeup product. We both have loved makeup since forever and thought of sharing our favourites with you guys.
1. AUDY’S FAVOURITE
My favourite makeup product has to be a highlighter. I dont usually use it on a daily basis but whenever I put on a highlighter I feel confident. That extra bling works for me always.
Although a highlighter cannot be used in a varied form, it still has more than one function. You can apply a highlighter on your cheekbones, on tip of your nose, on the cupids bow, on the chin and a bit on your forehead. If you dont wanna go overboard you can apply it just to your cheeks and nose.
Mix your foundation with a liquid highlighter to get a dewy makeup base. If you are wearing a sleeveless dress or a skirt that shows your hands and legs then put on a liquid highlighter for beautiful glowy hands and legs.
You can also put on a bit of highlighter on your collar bone to make it pop a bit.
A highlighter can also be used as an eyeshadow.
2. ANN’S FAVOURITE
My favorite makeup product would hands down be lipsticks. I contemplated between lipsticks and eyeliner because I am a person who oscillates between bold lips and bold eyes. Finally, I had to settle with lipstick because of how multifunctional it is and the different ways it can be used in. I love products that can be used in different ways because that means I get to carry less in my makeup pouch while travelling and my bag is lighter.
The obvious way you can use lipstick is for your lips - duh!. Using a bright color to highlight your lips is the best way to bring attention to your mouth - a great tip when you’re in a setting where you have to speak to a mass or crowd.
I don’t know why but a bold lip also gives me a surge of confidence and it can easily spice up a bland or basic outfit.
For its other uses, a red or a pink lipstick can be used as a blush if you just light dab it onto your cheeks and blend it out. A brown or dark-colored lipstick can be a replacement for your cream contour stick. Different colored lipsticks can be used as cream shadows or even be used with normal eyeshadow to give more depth. If you use liquid lip-color, they can be used as colorful eyeliners to give a dramatic or fun look ( make sure the lipstick is eye-safe though) and the list goes on.
My point is, my favorite makeup product has to be lipstick just based on how many varied ways it can be used.
