BTS has blessed us with amazing music videos for eight years. Here are some of the music videos that are close to our heart.

5. No more dreams: How can I not include this? this is how it all started. The concept of the video was so different from the others and the message of the song is something that really motivates you to work harder. Even though the concept was a little dark and there was too much eyeliner involved, it still holds a special place in my heart. Also, let’s not forget cough Jimin's abs cough.

4. Black swan: I love everything about this. The song, the concept, the aesthetic and the message. This is a masterpiece. This was slightly a different genre for them and they captured the essence of the song beautifully. the shadows at the back, the moves, the outfits. just everything.

3. Mic drop: I personally love BTS's hip hop tracks. they all hold a soft place in my heart. This song is on the list because this comeback took them back to their hip hop roots after they had wandered into different genres of pop. The aura everyone exudes here is just a chef's kiss. They went to their hard and heavy after showing their soft sides in the previous MVs released so this, being the song it is, was really a breath of fresh air. And if 2020 and 2021 are any indication, they really did make the song come true.

2. BST - Japanese: As I mentioned in the earlier blog, the first-ever mv I watched of BTS was Blood Sweat and Tears. even though I love the original version, as far as mv goes, I like the Japanese version better. I just think it captures the concept of BU and the story of Icarus a tad bit better.

1. Run: Okay. I love this song. I love the mv. I love the BU story behind it. I love the friendship they portray. I love the story behind it. and hence it takes the first position. I absolutely love the BTS universe concept they have. All the mvs and concept clips from The Most Beautiful Moment In Life Era are related to the 1st season of BU so that is just one of the reason why this is my first. They really display the thoughts and hopes of youth beautifully and the bond between each member is just something that you feel even when you are watching it for the first time or the fiftieth time. But the most important reason this makes the top of my list is that, at the time of this shoot or just this era, Big Hit ( Now known as HYBE) was nearly bankrupt. They didn't have much money and definitely did not have the money to pay for extras in the video or buy the props. The managers and stylists played the extras and they borrowed one of the staff's car to shoot the video. It was a culmanative effort of the members in the team off-screen and on-screen that made this a masterpiece but it also highlights the bond between BTS and their company and how they believed in each other and persevered through a hard time to get where they are now.

5. Life Goes On - This was their second promotional song from their recent album B.E. Through the MV, they tried conveying the message that even during the hardest of times, the time and season did not stop. They came and went away without even delaying for a moment. So even we should move on in our lives.
Of course, the message 'LIFE GOES ON LET'S LIVE ON' is one of the reasons why armys love this MV. Another reason why we love this MV is that it is directed by the Hwanggneum Maknae of BTS, Jeon Jungkook.
This MV will always be special to me because even during the difficult time when the world was and even is going through a pandemic, these seven beautiful humans came to our rescue and ignited a ray of hope in us.

4. Blood Sweat Tears - This MV will always hold a special place in my heart because this was the first video that I watched of BTS. I mean the song is just chef's kiss but the MV is on another level. Believe me or not this is one of their best MVs. The visuals, the set, the lighting, the transitions everything was on point. Although all these things are so flattering, the MV contains a deep meaning. I can write a whole book on what the is all about. But to be precise, the MV is based on a painting (which is shown in the MV as well) called The Fall of the Rebel Angels, the fight against good vs evil. The MV also has references from the Greek mythology Icarus. There is so much to this MV that it amazes me how they explained everything, even minute details so perfectly in a music video of just 6 mins. I know this period may seem long for an MV but trust me, the MV is deep. Just check out the video and I assure you, you won't regret it.

3. Mic Drop - I had to include this song. Saying that I love this song would be an understatement. I can listen to this song anytime I want. I love the MV because of their dance and the way they were being savage. BTS is known to be humble, so when they act all savage, it's a surprise to all of us. But I love it when they are all sassy. This song is a slap on the faces of those people who have criticised them and tried pulling them down. Even after receiving so much hatred and criticism, they have earned the success, recognition and respect that they rightfully deserve. And they just proved through the MV that nothing in this universe can bring them down. My favourite part of the MV is the last scene, where Suga drops the mic, proving their triumph. Their work was enough to get the haters to shut their mouth.

2. Spring Day - BTS has blessed us with multiple songs whose lyrics give me goosebumps. But this particular song is so emotional. This song is about the Sewol Ferry Tragedy, which happened on 16th April 2014. Many high schoolers lost their lives in this tragedy. BTS dedicated this song to the ones who lost their lives in this incident as well as to those who survived. Each member in the MV portrays a survivor and show the feelings that the survivors are going through. Although the song starts with a sad emotion, but as usual BTS give us hope by the end of the MV. It is not just a special song to us but to all the citizens of South Korea and, this is why this song is still on the Melon Music charts after four years of its release.

1. We are Bulletproof: Eternal - Okay. This MV is the most special for me because why not they fricking dedicated this MV to us. I can guarantee you that there isn't a single fan who has not shed a tear while watching this MV. It was released when I was a baby army, not even one month old and, yet I was emotional after watching it. In this MV, you can see the animated characters of the members from back in 2013 when they debuted. Through the MV, you can see that they never had a smooth journey to their success. In the early years, they faced a lot of criticism and, they were afraid of the hate towards them. But they are no more scared now because armys are with them. They say that armys are the reason why they were able to move forward even on their hardest of days when their agency went bankrupt, and they were on the verge of disbanding. My favourite part of the MV is when they all are standing in a line, and the army logo appears in front of them, which changes to that of BTS, conveying that BTS=ARMY. The verse in this part of the MV (Yeah, we are not seven, with you) makes me bawl my eyes every time I listen to it. This song will always be close to my heart.
