KDRAMAS TO WATCH IN 2021
You all know that we have been a kdrama and kpop enthusiast for a long time. We also know that there are lots of people who are newly venturing into kdrama. So we have come up with a list of kdramas that we found to be really entertaining. All of them are unique in their own way and we are sure you guys are gonna love these suggestion.
1. SUNBAE DON'T PUT ON THAT LIPSTICK

Sunbae Dont Put On That Lipstick is a dramatised version of a webtoon called She Would Never Know. It is such a sweet drama where you get to see a lot of office romance.
After a heartbreak, the female lead Yoon Song-ah tries her best to move on in her personal and professional life. The male lead Chae Hyun-Seung who was also the female lead's junior or hoobae( junior in Korean,) tried his best to help her move on in her life. You would wonder why? Well, that's because the hoobae was head over heels for his sunbae (senior in Korean). He was in love with her since the day he met her. You could say he chose to work in that company because of her.
In this drama, you can see that although the guy is younger than the female lead, he acted more maturely than her. He tried his best to make her realise how special she was for him and, yes, he was successful at it.
For many people, this drama title may seem weird but, it holds a special significance. To know that, go binge-watch this series. I'm sure you all won't be disappointed.
2. MOUSE

If you love thriller drama, mouse is going to be your jam. I am a thriller junkie and, I am confident that this series is my favourite so far. The director played a lot of mind games in this series and, I loved it.
It's a story about a dangerous serial killer who keeps on reminding the citizens of another serial killer, who is in prison, Han Seojun. Now we need to keep in mind that Han Seojun's son is still out there and is 25 years old. Although the police and detectives do catch hold of a suspect and, because of an altercation he is killed, it remains a question whether he was the killer. So if you want to know about the killer and, want to experience a lot of twists, go watch mouse.
P.S. Initially, there is no relation between mouse and the concept of the series but, with time, you will get to know about it and, it will blow your mind.
3. PENTHOUSE

After watching Penthouse, I am sure that I will never trust anybody anymore. You will love this show if you love some drama in your life.
It is about five families and three leading women Shim Su Ryeon, Cheon Seo-Jin and Oh Yoon-hee. All three of them are mothers leading a peaceful life until well a drama happens. That is when the true colours of everybody are seen. You can trust nobody and, at the same time, you cannot be on their bad side because they won't think twice before killing you.
If you love a lot of drama, Penthouse is something you will love.
Although the first season was released back in October 2020, season 3 is still going on. So guys go and watch the series, trust me, you will have a rollercoaster of emotions.
4. TRUE BEAUTY
It is a very aegyo filled romantic comedy story of JuGyeong - an awkward teen turned goddess (thanks to her incredible makeup skills) and SuHo the It boy of her new high school who keeps hidden scars. The two meet by chance and as they get close by sharing their secrets they grow and restore their self-esteem.
This show not only tells a fluffy teen romance but also talks about self-acceptance and focuses on forming true friends.
Spoiler alert! You will suffer second lead syndrome.
5. MR. QUEEN

A sudden accident leads to the soul of a wild and extremely skilled chef from modern Korea entering Queen Kim SoYong's body in the Joseon era. It is a hilarious drama with underlying historical politics of King CheolJong who has two faces.
This drama is filled with an incredible performance from Shin HyeSun. The man from our world trapped in the queen's body tries everything to go back to modern times and into his own body. Later, he gets used to the palace and takes part in the political schemes.
6. DOOM AT YOUR SERVICE

It is the fantasy romance of Myul Mang (doom) who is responsible for everything that disappears and anything that brings doom and DongKyung who is battling a life-threatening disease. When DongKyung finds out that she has a few months left to live and has an overall bad day, she is conned into making a contract with a demigod.
The plot is complex with twists and turns and a whole lot of emotions. But we can guarantee you, it is a rollercoaster worth riding.
